Reesa Donnelly is a Clinical Psychologist, PCIT therapist, and PCIT Master Trainer who has worked with Fundamental Therapy Solutions since 2011. Prior to working with Fundamental Therapy Solutions, Dr. Donnelly spent 4 years at the University of Florida managing an R01 research project examining Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children with ADHD. Dr. Donnelly earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She completed her doctoral internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She completed four years of postdoctoral training with PCIT founder, Dr. Sheila Eyberg, at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She formerly served as an ad-hoc board member of the PCIT International Board of Directors and as the chair of the PCIT International Continuing Education Committee. Her area of specialty is working with children under age 7 using Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She also works with adults who struggle with depression and anxiety, particularly focusing on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy. When Dr. Donnelly is not working, she loves spending time with her 2 children, doing yoga, being outdoors, and dancing.
Julie Ellis, Ph.D., NCSP is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist who has worked with Fundamental Therapy Solutions since 2011. Prior to working with Fundamental Therapy Solutions, she spent several years at the University of Florida in different roles. Julie graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology in 2001 and a Doctorate degree in School Psychology in 2007. Julie provides several different psychologically-related services at FTS including counseling for children, comprehensive evaluations of children with complex learning differences, other psychological and diagnostic evaluations, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and consultation with teachers, schools and parents on factors influencing the education of children with learning differences, behavioral problems and disabilities. In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling, tennis, golf and art.
Raquel is a Mental Health Counselor who completed her Master’s degree at the Florida International University in 2011 and is currently completing her Doctorate degree in School Psychology at the University of Florida. Raquel began working with FTS in the Spring of 2015. She is a certified PCIT therapist. She works mostly with parent-child interaction and with early childhood. In addition, Raquel completes psychoeducational evaluations, Autism screenings, and works individually with children struggling with social skills, anxiety, depression, and hyperactivity/inattention. Aside from her work as a professional and graduate student, she especially loves spending time with her pup, Amber.
