Julie Ellis, Ph.D., NCSP is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist who has worked with Fundamental Therapy Solutions since 2011. Prior to working with Fundamental Therapy Solutions, she spent several years at the University of Florida in different roles. Julie graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology in 2001 and a Doctorate degree in School Psychology in 2007. Julie provides several different psychologically-related services at FTS including counseling for children, comprehensive evaluations of children with complex learning differences, other psychological and diagnostic evaluations, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and consultation with teachers, schools and parents on factors influencing the education of children with learning differences, behavioral problems and disabilities. In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling, tennis, golf and art.

Jess Vezzoli is a school psychologist and recent graduate from the University of Florida. She has extensive experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and anxiety. She has worked in K-12 schools delivering direct services, such as counseling, assessments, and behavioral interventions, and indirect services, such as parent and teacher consultation and professional development. She enjoys working with children from diverse backgrounds and needs. Jess has been involved in research at the University of Pittsburgh and University of Florida for over 8 years. She is published in several peer-reviewed psychology journals and won a research award. Additionally, she has presented research findings on Autism, and interventions for social/emotional behavioral issues in early childhood, and eating disorders in regional, state, national, and international conferences. In her free time, she loves visiting her family in Italy and England, traveling to new places (local and otherwise) with her fiancé and dog, and cooking.

Amanda is proud to be part of the Gator Nation, as a University of Florida alumni. She graduated with her Masters of Arts in Counseling in 2014 and has dedicated much of her time to assisting adolescents in lifestyle support and emotional health. She is a recipient ofthe Presidential Service Award from President Obama in 2014 and President Trump in 2017. She has diverse experience in early childhood education and is passionate about her work with children. Amanda believes in a wholistic approach to wellness. She is experienced in treating disruptions in mood due to depression, anxiety , ASD, ADHD and severe co-occurring disorders. Amanda’s background is diverse and she enjoys working with diverse populations. She began with FTS in 2020 where she provides, behavioral assessments, therapeutic intervention for school aged children and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Amanda is currently finishing up her doctoral degree in General Psychology at Capella University. Aside from her work as a professional and graduate student, Amanda is active in her community, loves to spend time with her two children and focuses on the personal growth and development in mentorship of young men and women.

Julie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked for Fundamental Therapy Solutions since March 2020. Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2003 (Go Gators!) She then received a Masters of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Tampa, FL in 2009. Prior to working at FTS, Julie has done in home counseling with children and families. She has also worked on a residential adolescent unit for children with severe mental health and behavioral issues doing individual, family, and group counseling. During the last four years Julie has worked as an elementary school counselor. Here at FTS, Julie provides individualized therapy for children and adolescents, family therapy, and parent child interaction therapy (PCIT). Julie is passionate about helping children and families in the community to thrive. In her free time, Julie likes to spend time with friends and family, travel to interesting destinations, and enjoys arts and crafts.
